Effective July 1, 2024, the Authority's monthly sewer usage fee will increase from $55.00 to $67.00.  The increase will be reflected in your August 1, 2024 bill.  The rate increase is due to the increase for disposal and treatment fees paid to the New Castle Sanitation Authority and the increase in costs of maintaining and repairing the sewer system.

 

​The Authority has recently incurred significant costs to repair damage to its pump systems due to the improper disposal of baby wipes, feminine products, and other products into the sewer system.  Please note that the Authority intends to hold customers financially responsible for any damage caused to the Authority sewer facilities due to the improper disposal of such products.​​​
